Wines from our land, with our history.
Italy is the land of wine. Apulia is the land of sun. Lamonarca is passion for this land and its vineyards.
Therein lies the origin of this Winery’s tradition. From here it comes the tradition of a winery that has always operated in the presence of Castel del Monte, the ancient manor built by FREDERIK the II, a great expert and wine lover.
Rich in tradition, the Lamonarca wine production area coincides with a wide territory north of Bari, which has historically been used for vineyards and wine production, loosely extending between the municipalities of Ruvo di Puglia and Barletta. It is a rich and scented production: from the renown local varieties of Negroamaro, Bombino Nero, Bombino Bianco and Nero di Troia, to wider-used grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Malvasia Bianca and Malvasia Nera and Trebbiano. The products are available in various formats: from the TetraPak brik to the 5 liters jugs, passing through the PET packs. The recyclable materials used are products with low environmental impact and the processing of raw materials is carried out using renewable energy sources, which guarantee constant quality and an increase in the quantities produced.
The distribution system is also state of the art. The products’ formats save transport time and space, leading to a reduced cost for both producers and consumers.
